The historic peace agreement between the Afghan Taliban and the United States has been signed

A historic peace agreement between the Afghan Taliban and the US government is signed. Afghan Taliban representative Mullah Abdul Ghani and US Special representative for Afghanistan peace process Zalmay Khalilzad signed. After the agreement was signed, the slogan 'Allahu Akbar' was raised by the Afghan Taliban delegation in the hall.

After the signing of the peace agreement, Mullah Abdul Ghani Brother and Zalmay Khalilzad also signed an agreement. Representatives from different countries attended the ceremony and welcomed the peace agreement.

Afghan Taliban, Afghan government, US, Qatar and Pakistani officials attended the ceremony in Doha, Qatar's capital, on signing the peace agreement.

Addressing the ceremony, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the role of Special Zalmay Khalilzad, representative of the peace agreement, is admirable.

He said the United States and the Taliban are ending the decades-long conflict, a deal which will bring peace to Afghanistan.

Mike Pompeo said the Afghan people are rejoicing over the deal.

The US Secretary of State said that US and Afghan forces have worked together for peace in Afghanistan.

Mike Pompeo also said that they are grateful to Qatar for hosting the historic talks.

He said that the Taliban, with its positive attitude and role, gave serious evidence for peace. If the Taliban obeys the peace agreement, the reaction of the international community will also be positive.

The US Secretary of State attracted all stakeholders in Afghanistan, saying that for the sake of peace, everyone has to make sacrifices.

Today's agreement will prevent Afghanistan from becoming a terrorist supporter, Mike Pompeo added.

Speaking at the ceremony, Afghan Taliban representative Mullah Abdul Ghani Brother said that the Islamic Emirate (the name of Afghanistan in the Taliban era) is committed to implementing an agreement with the United States. With this agreement A war between Afghan Talibans and USA will be ended after couple of decade.
